Porcelain stoneware

Porcelain Stoneware

The name porcelain stoneware refers to a type of ceramic tile suitable for flooring and wall coverings: it belongs to a class of materials that are obtained from raw materials based on non-metallic inorganic substances, which are first formed and then made mechanically resistant through heat treatment. The porcelain stoneware ceramic tiles laid by MOMBRINI can be square or rectangular depending on their intended use.
The very low degree of absorption and the R9 or R10 surface make it ideal for use in areas with little water.
In addition, the precision of the tile (which is obtained using a mold) makes the laid floor very quiet when hard-wheeled trolleys pass over it.
It should be noted that most non-industrial flooring (homes, offices, etc.) is made with this material; the aesthetic result is exceptional because it can imitate any type of material.

The photographs are purely indicative: for actual colors and surfaces, please refer to our sample book.
