Instead of using external skirting in glazed klinker (which is very delicate in rooms where stacker trucks and trolleys pass by), it’s better to install stainless steel protective beads, reinforced with mortar and fixed with inserts in the wall or pillar. When you don't want to use a stainless steel profile that is too obvious but still want to give the edge of the tiles a steel finish, PCAi and PCRi profiles are the ideal solution. There are various models that differ in the shape and thickness of the tiles they are designed to connect. The number that usually follows these two codes indicates the thickness of the tile for which the profile is designed.
