Fissure Type Double Channel

FISSURE TYPE CHANNEL

As with all linear discharges, the fissure channel has the advantage of having, whilst having an equal discharge section, a lower drainage capacity, i.e. the removal of water from the floor (without draining it) than a drain; but it has disadvantages that limit its use because of the difficulty in cleaning it, the delicate positioning in the rooms, problematical installation, the fact that they interrupt the continuity of the floor creating real joints which are often undesired. Of all the fissure channels it is the most hygienic (in fact it consists of tracts of channel ranging from 0-24 m which come together in a siphonable drain which can be siphoned and cleaned quite easily.

ACCESSORIES FISSURE TYPE CHANNEL
A. 33×33

This is the classic manhole cover with vertical drain and 8 mm plate, large dirt trap basket. Its height can be reduced upon specific request.

B. 25×25

Manhole cover with vertical drain: smaller capacity than the tank and basket; it can also be lowered on request.

C. Lateral

Side discharge is never a good solution because it is difficult to inspect, but sometimes it solves problems with pipe height.

DIRECT DISCHARGE
LAYING

To reduce the expansion of the channels and prevent them from shifting during casting, Mombrini mechanically secures the anchors every 50 cm.

WATER CONNECTION UNDER PRESSURE

All of the above channels can be connected to running water, using the jet to keep them clean and constantly wet. The standard connection is 3/4″ female gas.
