By simply inserting it into the drain pipe, it allows the collection and removal of solid matter present in liquids; it also avoids the surfacing of undesired guests from the sewer.
This differs from the drain in that it has a closed cover and it is hermetic. It is ideal in high or low temperature rooms and it becomes a normal drain by simply substituting the cover, if necessary.
This is indispensable when you need to position a drain in a floor which contains waterproofing along its length as it allows the sheath to be folded inside and allows the latter to be drained into the sewer.
This allows the removal, including that part of the drain, which is normally fixed, allowing the latter to be positioned even on an open well and allows this type of sewer to be fully inspected.
